France prepares a new classification for craft activities

France’s new craft-activity classification will take effect on 1 January 2027. The NAFA system identifies and organizes activities covered by the country’s craft sector, taking account of manual practices and craft production. An official Service-Public guide explains that all French artisans will need to use the new codes and prepare for the change.
