France temporarily raises mileage allowances for State employees

France has temporarily revalued by 3.2% the mileage-allowance scale applying to travel by State personnel, effective 1 June 2026. Service-Public says the adjustment responds to higher fuel prices. It concerns public agents’ travel and is temporary. The official description therefore presents a time-limited measure rather than a permanent revision.
