France moves pesticide-use records into an electronic format

France’s Agriculture Ministry describes an electronic format for the register that professional users of plant-protection products must keep. The ministry says each use must be recorded, in line with Article 67 of EU Regulation 1107/2009. The change offers a digital way to document pesticide use, without asserting wider environmental effects.
